Good Monday morning. Meditation will be tonight at 7 as usual. See you there. Please let me know via text or email if you will be there.

Tomorrow is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year and longest period of darkness. It is a time of inner reflection, where we are given an opportunity by Mother Nature to rest within ourselves and find the stillness. When we listen to the natural rhythms of our lives, we move through the cycle of death and rebirth over and over. Things we don’t need or that create pain can be let go of to create space for the new and nourishing experiences that feed our Souls.

This is Yin time, time for us to connect to our more feminine qualities of receptivity and allowing. It is a time of inner reflection, a hibernation of sorts. Ironic that it is also at a time where many of us are so busy running around and finding ourselves in various social settings. It is essential to take some time to honor these qualities within you, to take time to BE and not just DO. As you interact with family and friends, rest back into your center so that you can listen to both your own inner wisdom and to whoever you are with in an open loving way.

  • Ask yourself what you are ready to let go of and what you want to bring into your life.
  • Spend a little time each day in quiet refection
  • Take some space for yourself when you feel the need
  • Listen to your body’s messages to inform you of how things are affecting you
  • Make connections by listening and speaking from your heart
  • Be gentle with you and with all those around you
  • For all those who celebrate Christmas, have a wonderful holiday.

    In deep gratitude

    Love and Light, Marion
